Rules for using Warp It
To ensure everybody has a good experience of swapping resources through Warp It, there are a few guidelines we ask all users to follow.
Is the item right for Warp It?
- Warp It is only for items bought by the Trust to be reused within the Trust - do not advertise personal items, or claim items for use at home/other organisations
- Please do not advertise items that are broken beyond simple repair, unsafe, or are generally unfit for use
- Please do not advertise items that could pose a fire risk e.g. soft chair with tears in the fabric/exposed foam
- Unwanted items of IT equipment or electrical medical equipment must be returned to IT or MEAM respectively and not advertised on Warp It.
Before you upload:
- Check you have authorisation to advertise the items on Warp It
- Items must have been appropriately cleaned ready to be reused
- Please ensure items are accurately described, and be honest about the condition e.g. for cupboards and drawers, state if keys are missing
- Ensure PAT testing has been carried out on any electrical items
When you claim
- It is the responsibility of the individual who claims the item to arrange the collection/transportation
Please familiarise yourself with the Trust's Procedure for Reuse of Unwanted Items here.
